For both of them, Sorobon was more than just a location; it was where they first met and where they continue to live out their shared love of windsurfing.

A romantic marriage proposal on the water.
It was here that he proposed to her on a surfboard, amid the turquoise water and colored windsurfing screens.
Exchange vows in a symbolic place.
Surrounded by friends and family, they exchanged vows here in this meaningful place, marking the beginning of their life together.

Surfboards as the central theme.
Surfboards were a major theme during the couple’s big day:
- Surfboards were incorporated into the wedding arbor
- The tabletop of the table at which the deed was signed was a surfboard
- The guest book was a surfboard on which the congratulations were written
From Sorobon to Wanapa Manor: The celebration continues.
The ceremony at Sorobon was just the beginning of a day full of highlights. After the beautiful ceremony at Sorobon, the festivities continued to Landhuis Wanapa, their second chosen location.

A church dedication with musical accompaniment.
In line with their deeply held beliefs, they also opted for a church dedication, complete with a talented church singing group and band.
An impromptu party in the pool.
After dinner, the party erupted. In a spontaneous and joyful moment, all the guests, encouraged by the festive mood and warm weather, decided to take a dip. The pool became the center of fun and the perfect end to this beautiful day!
