Required documents
In Bonaire, there must be three business days between the betrothal and marriage. The original documents can be sent to me by registered mail.
What I will do for you next is the following:
- First and foremost, I will contact the wedding officiant to get your wedding date set right away.
- As soon as I receive your documents, I will personally submit them to Civil Affairs, OLB (Public Entity of Bonaire).
- Here both the date and time of both the betrothal and wedding are officially fixed (discussed with you in advance).
- I will also give your contact information to the wedding officiant so he or she can schedule an appointment with you to go over the ceremony.
Love, Monique
