Master of ceremonies
Would you like all your family and friends to be able to enjoy the day without worries, while someone is there to monitor, assist, and guide everything smoothly on the big day?
Finally, the big day has arrived… The last thing you want is to worry about logistical and organizational matters.
Consider:
- Welcoming the guests and guiding them throughout the entire wedding
- Receiving all vendors and providing instructions as needed.
- Testing the sound and microphone(s).
- Setting up furniture and decor items in the right place, moving them if needed, and taking care of/checking the styling.
- Serving as the point of contact for both the guests and the venue staff.
- Guiding the witnesses and guests who want to give a speech, sing a song, or perform a piece.
- Ensuring that the wedding venue always looks tidy.
- Maintaining close contact with the venue to ensure that appetizers and drinks are served on time.
- Afterward, ensuring that the venue is left in good order and that everything is cleaned up.
- Ensuring that the wedding couple’s personal belongings are taken care of.
As the master of ceremonies, my most important task is to support you, the wedding couple, in every way!
Additional benefits of having a master of ceremonies:
- In my work as a wedding planner, I already maintain close contact with the wedding venue and associated vendors. This makes collaboration and communication smooth and efficient, and I immediately know who is responsible for what.
- This is my job. I have a lot of experience with weddings; for me it is not an extra task, which it may be for your friends and family.
- On your dream wedding day, I will be there the entire day, from before the start to after the end. This allows me to continuously monitor that everything is proceeding according to the schedule and plan, and to respond immediately to any unforeseen problems.
- And most importantly: your friends and family can fully enjoy your beautiful wedding day with you! It’s not only important for you as a wedding couple to have a carefree day, but this also applies to your guests. Give your best friend or your sister a relaxed day, allowing them to experience every moment with you without having to constantly manage or take care of things.
While it may feel like an honor to be asked to serve as master of ceremonies, this task often proves to be incredibly stressful for family members and friends.
Before the wedding, I also handle all the preparations:
- Scheduling meetings with all the vendors to discuss your wedding.
- I carefully review all wedding elements that the wedding couple has already arranged when I am brought in solely for the role of master of ceremonies. I contact the respective vendors to ensure that everything you have discussed is correct, so that there are no unpleasant surprises or disputes with vendors on the day itself.
- I have multiple conversations with you, the wedding couple, and also with the wedding venue to ensure we are all aligned, so that your expectations and dreams become a reality.
- Creating a professional wedding script that I discuss with the wedding couple before it is finalized. After all, the couple makes the final decisions.
