This French couple had been coming to Sorobon every year for quite some time to windsurf. They had been together for many years and had a 5-year-old daughter.
When Fabrice finally proposed to Nathalie, they wanted to get married as soon as possible! And what better place than the beautiful beach at Sorobon with the colorful sails of windsurfers in the background?
Getting married on Sorobon Beach, Bonaire, with a small group is a fantastic idea for those dreaming of a serene and intimate beach wedding. Sorobon Beach, located on the southeastern side of the island, is known for its tranquil, crystal-clear waters and breathtaking views of the reef. This location provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable ceremony.
However, there was less than a month to prepare…
The official documents they had requested needed to be translated into English or Dutch and stamped with an apostille. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough time for the latter. For a moment, it seemed like the wedding might not happen until I received the following message a week before the wedding: “Could we still get married on the 20th even if unofficially?”
It was a challenge and a race against the clock, but we went for it! How wonderful it would be if their dream of getting married here in Bonaire could come true, and it did! The official wedding will take place later in France.
They had a beautiful day with their daughter and two friends from Bonaire.
Despite having only a small group, they wanted a lively local salsa band. A local salsa band adds vibrancy to the celebration and brings authentic Caribbean vibes. Even with a small group, you can still create a big beach party! What could be more wonderful than dancing barefoot on the beach in the sun on your wedding day? The sound of the waves in the background, the sand beneath your feet, and the love in the air. It’s the perfect setting to dance with your partner and create memories that will last a lifetime.
