A beach wedding: Self-organized, perfectly executed.
This wedding couple already lived on Bonaire and completely self-organized the preparations for their big day. In order not to burden themselves and their guests with arranging and styling on the day itself, they enlisted my help for the execution. Also, they hired me as their stylist.
Trust and honor: a perfect wedding
It was an honor to be present at their beautiful day. I appreciate their trust in me, especially because, after all the work they did themselves, they dared to hand everything over to me on the day itself.
Working together to create the perfect wedding
This couple put a lot of time and effort into planning their wedding. Living on Bonaire themselves, they already knew the most beautiful venues and vendors that would perfectly suit their needs. They wanted to offer their guests an unforgettable experience, and it was a pleasure working with them to finalize their plans.
Styling the ceremony
On the day of the wedding, the moment was finally there. I made sure everything was styled perfectly for the ceremony. The bride and groom had a bohemian style in mind, with dried palm leaves, pampas grasses and with a touch of gold. I styled the wedding gazebo, chairs and everything that went with the ceremony to make it a beautiful and atmospheric setting. I also took care of the styling of the dinner table, which would seat 33 people.
The power of music: pianist at their wedding
A special addition to the ceremony was the pianist. As the guests arrived, she welcomed them with beautiful songs she played on the piano. This created a romantic and inviting atmosphere. During the toasts and also during the ceremony, she played special songs that added an extra emotional layer to this beautiful beach wedding.
A multicultural wedding: love and connection on Bonaire
This couple’s wedding was extra special because the wedding guests came from different countries and also from other islands. This gave the ceremony a multicultural atmosphere. It was very special that friends and family from different places around the world came together on Bonaire to celebrate this special day together with the bride and groom. Some wedding guests spent two days on the road. The wedding guests spoke different languages, but the love and joy were universal.
A Caribbean barbecue dinner
After the reception, the wedding guests enjoyed a delicious dinner executed in a style appropriate to the island: a delicious Caribbean barbecue. For dessert, the beautiful wedding cake was presented, cut and then, of course, enjoyed.
